Heswall Santa Sleigh

In December members of 4th Heswall Sea Scouts joined with Heswall Round Table on two nights as we toured Heswall with Santa and his Sleigh raising money for good causes in the local area.

All the Scouts worked with a smile and Christmas cheer as they went from door to door on both three-mile routes around Heswall.

Santa was particularly loud this year and caused quite a stir everywhere we went, with cheesy Christmas songs belting out through the PA system we brought smiles of joy to all the little ones as they caught a glimpse of the larger than life man in red sat upon his sled.

A huge thank you must go to the Heswall Round Table Santa wagon team for enabling this opportunity.  This was a great activity and a superb experience for the Scouts, one which they not only enjoyed, but also felt proud to be a part of having grown up with fond memories of this annual tradition when they were little.  By helping Heswall Round Table our Scouts raised over £1300 for the Round Table which will benefit local good causes and help 4th Heswall to deliver a rich and varied programme throughout the year.
