4th Heswall Sea Scout Group

A Place to Belong

Young people and adults alike need a space to be themselves, build lifelong skills, and thrive. At 4th Heswall Sea Scout Group, we offer a warm, adventurous community where everyone can achieve their personal best.

Less Screen Time, More Green Time

In school, you’re taught a lesson and then given a test. In Scouts, you’re given a challenge first—and that experience teaches you a lesson for life.

We provide high-adventure informal education where young people aged 4–18 forge deep friendships, step out of their comfort zones, and turn into resilient, confident young adults.

Our Strategy: Building Resilient Young People

Aligned with the Scouts UK National Strategy, we deliver non-formal education through 6 core pillars:

1. Have a go at something new: Pushing boundaries safely.
2. Learn & pass on a skill: Peer leadership and practical life training.
3. Spend a night away: Building self-reliance and outdoor confidence.
4. Chat with someone different: Promoting inclusion and community connection.
5. Achieve as a team: Collaborative problem solving under guidance.
6. Pick yourself up and go again: Developing real-world resilience.
