A New Challenge?

Date: 31st Dec 2019 Author: Scout Leader

We would like to offer more young people, more opportunities to have more adventures and lifetime experiences, and you can help.

Pass on your skills and experience

4th Heswall Sea Scouts are a thriving local Scout group and have been part of the Heswall community for over 50 years. The continual growth and success of the group is due, in no small part, to the commitment and dedication of our leaders and parent helpers.
To ensure our group can provide places for all the children who apply to join we need new additional occasional helpers and assistant leaders across all sections. We are looking for role models to encourage our young members to grow in confidence and develop skills for life to help them become successful young people. If this is a skill set you can bring to the group please contact the team today.

Learn new skills as a Scout leader

‪If you have skills you can teach, an adventurous hobby or water sport you have a recognised qualification in, or experiences you can pass on to the next generation; you can help the 4th Heswall leadership team make memories to last a lifetime. Whether you come for one meeting to talk about your interests, hobby, profession; teach a skill set you can pass on that will cover a few meetings; even join as a leader to help deliver our diverse and inclusive programme of activities and events, please get in touch.

We can help you start your own Scouting adventure in 2020.‬

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
