25th World Scout Jamboree
Susie’s Jamboree Dream
It is a great honour to be selected to represent Scouts UK at any World Scout Jamboree and one of our Young Leaders has been selected to attend Korea in 2023.
Susie’s World Jamboree Journey
In February 2022, after a long selection process, 20 Scouts were invited to attend an assessment day held by District Scouts.

It is with pride we are delighted to announce that Susie Everett has been chosen to attend the 25th World Scout Jamboree in Korea. Susie has been a member of West Wirral Scouts since she was five years old and, as 1 of 3 Scouts selected, will represent the West Wirral Scout District along with 3,240 Scouts chosen from the UK, to join over 50,000 young people from around the world taking part in the 25th World Scout Jamboree at SaeManGeum, Korea in August 2023.
Susie Everett
Susie is an outgoing and active member of her community, a member of Scouts UK since the age of five and is an experienced and qualified Young Leader with the 4th Heswall Sea Scout Group.
Susie attends Upton Hall School FCJ, is a member of West Kirby Amateur Swimming Club, is an in-pool helper for the beginners, and plays rugby for Caldy RUFC, and Cheshire.
Susie has recently completed her Duke of Edinburgh’s Silver Award and continues to seize amazing opportunities and adventures.
Can you help Susie
Susie is raising funds for her own journey and to support other Scouts from less developed countries, so they can all experience this once in a lifetime opportunity together.
This is the first time in many years that anyone from 4th Heswall Sea Scouts RN44 has been selected to attend a World Scout Jamboree.
