We Will Remember

Date: 12th Nov 2018 Author: Scout Leader

The Last PostOn the 100th anniversary of the Armistice, St. Peters Scout Group, the 4th Heswall Sea Scouts, took part in this year’s uniformed Remembrance Parade through Heswall.

We had a fabulous turnout out of 24 Sea Scouts, 14 Cub Scouts and 9 Beaver Scouts for Remembrance Day 2018.

Thank you to Tom who played the last post at Birkenhead Priory, Jack who played the last post for us at St. Peter’s Church service, at the Dawstone Park War Memorial, and finally at the Royal British Legion memorial garden in Heswall.

Max who was our Scout Standard Bearer, Sam and Will as our colour party and church readers and the Cub Scout and Beaver Scout Standard Bearers. All Scouts behaved respectfully and impeccably on the day and felt proud to be a part of and support this annual event.

All enjoyed a hot dog or two, crisps and a drink after the parade courtesy of The Royal British Legion Heswall.
