4th Heswall Take On Parkrun…
No rest for the wicked! After fueling up on a breakfast of eggy bread and sausages it was time to get the campers moving at the Sunday morning Junior Parkrun.
Wearing our distinctive Tangerine Orange Neckers, our Beavers, Cubs and Sea Scouts were easy to spot on the 2km run around Wirral Country Park, it was a walk (run) in the park for some and a bigger challenge for others, but the Beavers, Cubs and Scouts did brilliantly, taking the course at their own pace and enjoying a huge sense of achievement at the finishing line. For some this was their first taste of Junior Parkrun but having sampled it once maybe they will be keen to return.
